What it trains
A person is searching for the name of a flower. It’s on the tip of his/her tongue. He/She knows it starts with “am…” What is it? In fact, this task trains the patient’s word knowledge and helps him practice to retrieve words from his language repertoire by using his capacity to anticipate and discriminate words which belong to the same lexical field (theme). Each syllable can be seen as a phonetic cue that facilitates word retrieval.
A predefined set of levels has been specially selected to ensure an easy start and grant a regular progression.
